'Crossing Spaces' - Floorwork Dance Workshop
Floorwork & Soft Acrobatics
Let's meet in the studio for 2hours of moving across the space, learning new sequences, laughing together and challenging our proprioception.
The focus will be on floorwork, starting gently at first, getting the mechanics and then later we build it up towards sequences and a dynamic changing of levels. The guiding principle is "Form follows Function", hence the goal is to get everyone rolling, sliding and jumping smoothly and with joy.
There might be some moments taken for dedicated leg and jump efforts, we might also do some group work on spatial awareness. We will move with and without music, we share time, space and place.

About me:
After a few years of obsessive handstand training I got my proper dance education. Far from being classically trained I do enjoy working with the floor.
Inversions, arm balances and other acrobatic elements are weaved into my movement repertoire. Since 2020 I teach across Europe in a diverse range of contexts: from professional dance schools to facilitating the freelancers' training to teaching at festivals.
Next to co-running a dance festival in Poland I am busy as a cultural agent and dance maker in the wider sense, emphasizing social and environmental sustainability and cross-sectoral collaboration.
